Assistant Soil & Water Conservation Officer (AS&WCO): Non Engineering Background: - “Must have completed the basic course of Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry from recognized University and its equivalent.”
b) Engineering Background: - Must have completed the basic course of B.E/B. Tech. in Civil Engineering/ Agriculture Engineering/ Water Resource Engineering from recognized University
Mechanic Motor Vehicle (M.V) Instructor: 3 (three) years Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile Engineering from any recognized Polytechnic/ Institution.
Electrician Instructor: 3 (Three) years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from any recognized Polytechnic/ Institution

Minimum Age Limit: 18 Years
Maximum Age limit: 32 Years
Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

For Assistant Soil & Water Conservation Officer: Rs. 460/-
For Mechanic Motor Vehicle (M.V) Instructor, Electrician Instructor: Rs. 350/-
Half the rate for SC/ST who are permanent residents of the State of Meghalaya.
