Educational Qualification
All Posts: Pass in SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate)
ITI (National Trade Certificate) in relevant trade
All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in relevant trade
The minimum qualification must be from a University/Institute/Examination Board recognized by AICTE/appropriate statutory authority/State/Central Government
Candidates with equivalent qualifications should submit Equivalency Certificate issued by Competent Authority

Welder Cum Fitter (Welder/Welder Gas & Electric): ITI and NCVT in Welder/Welder (Gas & Electric) trade
Welder Cum Fitter (Sheet Metal Worker): ITI and NCVT in Sheet Metal Worker trade
Welder Cum Fitter (Fitter): ITI and NCVT in Fitter trade
Welder Cum Fitter (Plumber): ITI and NCVT in Plumber/Pipe Fitter trade
Welder Cum Fitter (Mechanic Motor Vehicle): ITI and NCVT in Mechanic Motor Vehicle trade
Welder Cum Fitter (Mechanic Diesel): ITI and NCVT in Mechanic Diesel trade
Machinist: ITI and NCVT in Machinist trade
Fitter (Electrical): ITI and NCVT in Electrician trade
Fitter (Electronics): ITI and NCVT in Electronic Mechanic trade
Crane Operator (Electrical): ITI and NCVT in Electrician/Electronic Mechanic/Instrument Mechanic trade
Instrument Mechanic: ITI and NCVT in Instrument Mechanic trade

Experience Requirements
For All Posts: Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in relevant areas
Experience must be acquired after passing the stipulated qualification
Experience period will be reckoned as on 23 January 2026
Experience in Shipyard, Engineering Company, Government Company/Establishment, or Semi-Government Company/Establishment is required
Completed Apprenticeship Training under Apprentices Act 1961 in relevant trade shall be treated as experience
Training with remuneration shall also be treated as experience
Experience certificates from Companies registered under Companies Act 1956 or Foreign Companies of equivalent status only will be considered
For current employees, Appointment/Offer letter, latest Pay Slip, or copy of last pay drawn should be submitted as proof
For past employment, experience certificate indicating date of joining and relieving should be submitted
Work experience from contractors (Proprietary/Partnership Firms) may be considered based on Principal Employer's endorsement along with ESI/EPF statements

Maximum Age: 35 years (Applicants should be born on or after 24 January 1991)
Age Relaxation for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years relaxation for posts reserved for them
Age Relaxation for SC/ST: 5 years relaxation for posts reserved for them
Age Relaxation for Ex-servicemen: As per Government of India guidelines - period of military service deducted from actual age and adding 3 years thereto, subject to maximum age of 45 years
Upper age limit is relaxable as per Government directives

General/OBC/EWS Candidates: ₹700/- (Non-refundable, plus bank charges extra)
SC/ST Candidates: Exempted from application fee (No fee required)
Payment Mode: Online payment only through Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/Wallets/UPI etc.
Payment Period: From 06 January 2026 to 23 January 2026
No other mode of payment shall be accepted
Candidature shall be considered only on receipt of application fee (except for SC/ST candidates)

Pay Scale: W6 - ₹22,500 - ₹73,750 per month
Basic Pay: ₹22,500
Dearness Allowance (DA): ₹11,655 (at present 51.8%)
House Rent Allowance (HRA): ₹4,500 (at present 20%)
Other Allowances: ₹3,140
Total Monthly Emoluments (as on date): ₹41,795
Additional Benefits: National Pension System (NPS), Contributory Provident Fund, Gratuity, Accident Insurance coverage, Medical Assistance Scheme, Post-Retirement Medical Assistance Scheme, Earned Leave encashment, Working Dress Maintenance Allowance etc. as admissible
