Educational Qualification
Candidates must satisfy the following educational requirements:

Master of Dental Surgery (MDS).
Post Graduate Dental degree (MDS) from a Dental college/Institution recognized by Dental Council of India (DCI).
Must have A.P. State Dental Council Registration.
Non-local candidates with A.P. State Dental Council Registration are eligible for Senior Residency if local candidates are not available.
Local Candidature:

A candidate who studied at least 4 years from 4th to 10th in Andhra Pradesh.
In case of study of 4th to 10th in Telangana and migrated to AP after bifurcation, a certificate from revenue authorities as per G.O.Ms.No. 132 & 133 GA (SPF&MC) Dept: 13.06.2016 is required as proof of local candidate.

The age conditions for Senior Resident posts are:

Maximum Age: Candidate must be below or 44 years of age at the time of initial appointment.
Age calculation date: At the time of initial appointment as Senior Resident.
3. Additional Eligibility Conditions
Candidates who have completed one-year Senior Residency either in Government or Private Medical/Dental Colleges are not eligible to apply.
Senior Residents already working in Government Medical Colleges/Dental Colleges of AP are not eligible.
Selected candidates must submit an affidavit stating that they have not done Senior Residency earlier in either Government Medical or Dental College.

For OCs: Rs. 2000/-
For BC, SC and ST: Rs. 1000/-
Payment Mode: Demand Draft from any Nationalized Bank drawn in favour of Director of Medical Education, A.P., Vijayawada, payable at Vijayawada.

Post: Senior Resident
Remuneration / Honorarium: Rs. 74,750/- per month
Tenure: One year only; selected candidates must complete the full one-year Senior Residency period.
