Should have completed Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) from Institutes approved by D.G. Shipping
Trainee Marine Engineer

Should have completed four years degree in Marine Engineering from any IMU affiliated colleges/Institutes approved by D.G. Shipping/ Institutes recognised by any State or Central Government or the AICTE. (OR)
Should have Graduate Marine Engineering from a recognised university after completion of four years Engineering Degree.
Trainee Electrical Officers

Should have completed four years Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Electronics & Telecommunication/ Communication Engineering or Electronics & Instrumentation recognised by any State or Central Government or the AICTE.
Should have completed four months Electro Technical Officer course from DG Shipping approved Institute.

Dredging Corporation of India (DCIL) has announced a notification for the recruitment of Fleet Personnel, Trainees Vacancy. Those Candidates who are interested in the vacancy details & completed all eligibility criteria can read the Notification & attend for Interview.

During the training period Dredge Cadets will be paid stipend of Rs.15,000/- per month plus victualing allowance @Rs.600 per day, Trainee Marine Engineers will be paid stipend of Rs.25,000/- per month plus victualing allowance @600 per day, and Trainee Electrical Officer will be paid stipend of Rs.25,000/- plus victualing allowance @Rs.600 per day.
Candidates selected as Dredge Cadets, Trainee Marine Engineers and Trainee Electrical Officers will have to execute a Bank guarantee of Rupees three lakhs or the same amount to be deposited with DCI to serve DCI for a period of five years after completion of requisite training period and obtaining CoC (applicable to Dredge cadets & Trainee Marine Engineers) or posting as ELOs (applicable to TELOs).
