Candidates must possess a PG Degree (MD/MS/DNB) in the concerned subject from a recognized institution as per norms mentioned in the notification.
All candidates must be below 44 years of age for all categories as on the date of interview.
Candidates serving bond under any Government Institution are not eligible to apply.
Candidates who have completed 3 years as Senior Resident in any Government Institution are not eligible to apply.
Candidates must have valid registration with Karnataka State Medical Council (KMC) / NMC for MBBS and PG degrees.
Candidates applying under OBC/SC/ST/EWS/PWD categories must possess certificates issued by competent authority in prescribed format valid for appointment in Central Government Institutions before the date of interview.
Candidates claiming OBC reservation/age relaxation must produce updated OBC certificate as per Annexure-A of Government of India guidelines; otherwise, they will be treated as General category.
Reservation of Persons with Benchmark Disability (PWD) is as per prevailing Government of India guidelines.
Sala

All candidates must be below 44 years of age for all categories as on the date of interview.
Reservation and age relaxation are applicable as per Government of India rules for OBC/SC/ST/EWS/PWD categories, subject to production of valid certificates.

SC/ST/Female candidates: Nil (no application fee).
All other categories: Rs. 300/- as application fee.
Fee must be paid via Demand Draft in favour of “ESI Corporation” payable at “Kalaburagi”, drawn on any scheduled bank.
Demand Draft must be issued after the date of issue of this advertisement.
Application fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Application fee paid by any other mode will not be accepted.

Senior Resident will receive a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 1,40,545/- per month.
In addition, TA and DA on TA are admissible as applicable.
No other allowances such as DA, NPA, HRA etc. are payable over and above the consolidated remuneration.
No private practice is allowed during the tenure of service in ESIC.
