Post-Graduation Degree in Education/Philosophy/Sociology/Psychology with minimum 50% marks and B.El.Ed or B.Ed. or D.El.Ed with 50% marks or M.Phil. or Ph.D. in Education for Teacher Educator in Foundation Course.
Post-Graduate Degree in Science (Physics/Chemistry/Botany/ Zoology/ Mathematics/ Geography / Geology) with Minimum 50% marks and M.Ed. with Minimum 50% marks for Teacher Educator in Science.
M.A. in History with minimum 50% marks and M.Ed. with Minimum 50% marks for Teacher Educator in History.
M.A. in Geography with Minimum 50% marks and M.Ed. with minimum 50% marks for Teacher Educator in Geography.
M.A. in Economics with minimum 50% marks and M.Ed. with minimum 50% marks for Teacher Educator in Economics.
M.A. in Political Science with Minimum 50% marks and M.Ed. with minimum 50% marks for Teacher Educator in Political Science.
M.A. or M.Sc. in Mathematics with minimum 50% marks and M.Ed. with minimum 50% marks for Teacher Educator in Mathematics.
M.A. in Odia with minimum 50% marks and M.Ed. with minimum 50% marks for Teacher Educator in Odia.

Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 42 years
However, the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to SEBC, SC, ST and all Women candidates, 10 years for candidates belonging to PwD category and the total period of service rendered in defence service in case of Ex-servicemen. PwD candidates in the ST and SC category shall be entitled to cumulative age relaxation of ten years over and above the normal relaxation specified for the category. However, a candidate who comes under more than one category shall be eligible for only one benefit of age relaxation as per rule which will be most beneficial to her/him

The candidates other than SC, ST and PwD category shall deposit the examination fee amounting to Rupees Five hundred (₹ 500/-) only through online mode in Odisha Treasury portal linked with the online application form.
