Band Master (Contractual)
Essential Qualification:
Potential Band Master/Band Major/Drum Major course at AEC Training College and Centre, Pachmarhi; OR
Equivalent Naval / Air Force courses.
Desirable: Experience in the pipe band.
Age: 18 – 50 years as on 01 May 2026.
Quartermaster (Contractual)
Essential Qualification:
BA/B.Com.
At least 5 years’ experience as UDC stores or as Quartermaster; OR
Ex-serviceman, preferably a JCO/NCO, with at least 10 years of experience in handling and accounting of stores.
Desirable Qualification: Should have undergone a Quartermaster Course.
Age: 18 – 50 years as on 01 May 2026.

Band Master: 18 – 50 years.
Quartermaster: 18 – 50 years.
Age relaxation will be applicable as per Central Government rules.

Rs 500/- (General/OBC/Other candidates) – non-refundable.
Rs 400/- (SC/ST candidates) – non-refundable.
Mode of Payment:
Crossed Bank Draft drawn in favour of “Principal, Sainik School Gopalganj”, payable at State Bank of India, Sasamusa Branch (Code-006024), Dist-Gopalganj (Bihar); OR
Online payment using SBI Collect via the school website (PAY ONLINE button); online payment receipt to be attached with application.

Band Master: Rs 34,000/- per month (Consolidated).
Quartermaster: Rs 32,000/- per month (Consolidated).
Posts are purely contractual; other allowances/benefits are not specified in the notification.
