Requirements

Educational Qualification:

I.Sc. (Biology or Mathematics) / 10+2 (Biology or Mathematics) with two years Diploma in Optometry or trained for two years as Ophthalmic Assistant in any of the recognized Government Hospital as per guidelines of NPCB.
I.Sc. (Biology or Mathematics)/ 10+2 (Biology or Mathematics) with 2 years Diploma in Ophthalmic Assistant from Government/ Private/ Semi Govt. Institute recognized by Government of Bihar.

Age Limit:

Minimum Age Limit: 21 Years
Maximum Age limit: 42 Years
Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.

Application Fee:

For General/ BC/ Extremely BC/ EWS: Rs. 500/-
For all Others: Rs. 500/-
For SC/ ST/ Women/ Candidates with disabilities: Rs. 125/-

Salary/Pay Scale:

Ophthalmic Assistant: Rs. 15,000
